Re: [Chrysler300] 300 - Canada to US

Greetings,

In September 2005 I bought Fern Rivard's 300H and hauled it from British
Columbia across Canada and entered the US at International Falls, Minnesota.

Fern had misplaced the title so all I had was a bill of sale. The H still
had Idaho plates that were 20+ years old. No one stopped me in Canada and
the border crossing was simple - it took about 20 minutes (at 10 pm). There
were no $ charges and two forms were filled out with copies given to me.
The guard looked the car over and checked the Vin # against the
bill-of-sale. He did comment to my wife "must be a sentimental thing with
your husband", so I guess it is all in the eye of the beholder.

Carlton.
