Re: [Chrysler300] 68 300

Having been involved with cars since the early days of Hot Rodding and graduating to trying to save desirable special interest cars from the crusher in the 60s I can assure you that a certain amount of "snobishness" has always been present. Back then the Classics owners looked down on Special interest owners, who looked down on Customizers, and nearly everyone looked down on Hot Rodders.
One thing I have learned is that in this hobby we all share, we need to stick together because there are too many lawmakers or other organizations trying to prevent us from enjoying whatever vehicle we happen to like. The main thing is that we are not only preserving a car but also part of automotive history so that future generations can see what great cars were built before laws limited us to look-alike throwaway cars that are obsolete when they are driven off the dealer's lot.
I have owned 5 letter cars and 5 non-letter cars including a 68 300 hardtop and can honestly say that I liked them all. I hope you will reconsider your decision to quit this club because although I haven't been a member very long, I enjoy how everyone helps when a member has a problem. The way I do is to belong to whatever clubs fit the cars I enjoy; but don't necessarily own YET.
You might check out and Chrysler 300 Club Inc. which does just what you inquired about; recognizes all 300s, letter or not. Another choice would be The WPC Club which covers all Mopar-made vehicles. If you do you will probably see some familiar names.

After being here for a couple years its obvious that
this is letter cars only.
