Re: [Chrysler300] 57-59 quarter panels - update

This is why many of these guys who work on or for your cars and/or homes do work of the quality of a Leonardo Da Vinci and never have two nickels to rub together. Just try to get a home contractor to do what he says that he will do when he says that he will do it. Yes I know there are exceptions, but I guess that I have never found one.

Brian, the new guy at MetalCrafters, will have us updated soon on availability of the long-awaited goodies. For whatever reason, the last guy left a confusing mess for his now frazzled replacement.

New guy says he should have a grip on things by the end of the week if we give him the time. Credit card orders have not been charged - and will not be charged until items are shipped, says he. This jibes with what my credit card balance shows. I'm assuming our east coast distributors ordered stock the same way.

True to what the all-knowing Wayne G said about patience; Goers has a 10-month order of mine, Freman a 9-month order and my local rebuilder a 7-month pre-paid waterpump rebuild. Add to this my 5-year search for good kielbasa in GA..I guess I can wait a while for rust-free quarters, darnit.

Ps. Is Hertog really working at White Castle?

Hi to all,

Many of you have asked for pictures of the new repro quarter panels. Some
pictures can be viewed at :
http://pub101.ezboard.com/fdesotoclubfrm10.showMessage?topicID=339.topic

Thanks to Dean Mullinax and the DeSoto Club for the pictures.

I have no idea who took them or how they got there, and, for the time being,
it is my understanding that they are still only available only at the
California location.

John
