I can speak from personal experience regarding George Laurie
(DesotoGeorge), that his products are of the finest quality and extrreme
care has been taken by him to produce very very nice pieces. I have
purchased the courtesty light lenses for my 300C, tail light lenses for my
Dodge Sweptside Pickups and he has also made dashboard knobs, license
plate light lenses and hood ornaments for me from my originals. Simply,
his work is excellent!
I would highly recommend him and his products to anyone in the Club.

Subject: 300L Rocker Panels
Thanks to everyone for the great response to my question about armrests!
Now I would like to ask what I believe might be a more challenging
question.
On both sides of my 300L the front seam between the rocker panels and the
front fenders are filled with body filler. The rear seams are visible and
unfilled. Before repainting I will have the body filler removed and the
area properly repaired with patches or new rocker panels. My question is
whether, following the repairs, the front seams should be filled
(presumably with lead) or left visible.

I'm in need of a fill tube/dipstick for my 57 automatic transmission.
Orig. was crunched in an unfortunate mishap late last evening.
Would also like to find a used & useable shifter cable for same. Mine was
cut by the previous dismantler.
