Page 43 lists Fluid LeaksWhat it may not mention is the Shifter Cable can leak in….- O-Ring that lives at the end of the cable & seal where it enters the transmission.- Shifter Cable has a plastic sheath that (in time) can start to separate from the cable & leak. That can be remedied by (a) a new, replacement cable and (b) sliding a rubber hose (like a fuel hose) over the lower third of the cable & having hose clamps help create a seal. It has been done in the past many times; really :).Matt AllynOn Nov 13, 2024, at 7:01 PM, Kurt Brueske <kurt.b...@xxxxxxxxx> wrote:I recently had the transmission out and rebuilt on my 300H just in time for the Omaha Fall Meet. It drives and shifts well but I'm disappointed that I still have what appears to be a fluid leak. I vaguely recall seeing a past post on potential sources of the problem including a speedometer cable seal? Is there any way to remedy this problem or is it just something I have to live with? Thanks in advance.Kurt--
