Page 43 lists Fluid Leaks What it may not mention is the Shifter Cable can leak in…. - O-Ring that lives at the end of the cable & seal where it enters the transmission. - Shifter Cable has a plastic sheath that (in time) can start to separate from the cable & leak. That can be remedied by (a) a new, replacement cable and (b) sliding a rubber hose (like a fuel hose) over the lower third of the cable & having hose clamps help create a seal.
