I hate this part of the 1962 restoration game….!--But I am very close!!!!Speedometer in place.Metal frame, with indicator arrows in place (in between speedometer & dome & the ground wire a part of it).Astradome (dome lens + all instruments) in place; sort of…..The Instrument Cluster needs to rock back...To become flat & level in its final position.As it sits now; the Odometer is not as visible as it is supposed to be.I have pulled downward on the chrome band to get the entire assembly to try & seat better.(To no avail)I have tried to gently rock the assembly left / right / fore / aft.(To no avail)I have tried to thread in the lower dome cluster spacers & screws; to pull it all down.(To no avail)Any other thoughts on how to get the rear-most portion of the Instrument Cluster to settle flat in position?I am tempted to MAYBE unscrew the Lens from the Instrument Cluster; but am hesitant.Before I snap off another side dome screw portion (GRRRR….) thought I should ask y’all….Thanks!Matt Allyn
