Kevin, I used a chisel and tapped the side of the rivet head and then took a punch and tapped the shaft out. There was more than 505 of the roller still good after my stupidity and I measured the roller and came up with. Hole OD 0.380 or less for how much clearance one wants. Large flange OD is 0.125 Small flange OD is 0.131 The inside (OD) of the running slot is 0.696 I need to measure the slot width and the overall width yet. For another project I had purchased a 3 inch round of Delrin a foot long. My machinist still has it down there across town. I am going to see if he has time in the next few days
to make me a new roller. We can make sure it spins nice. I think the shaft is malleable and I can peen it over. Or, I can spot weld it. The catch is the spring and the little rollers must go on first to the housing or you cannot get it on. Then the large roller. If nobody has a good one they can ship out and I have to have one made, I will post the final dimensions. James From: Kevin
deGraauw <kdegraauw@xxxxxxxxxxx> I nominate this particular part as something the club could look at making and selling. So tired of no one having these new and it affects a LOT of C body cars. I could use a set
too as well as just about anyone on here with these in their car I'm betting. Those little rollers in the track are worse for not rolling, lol! Kevin Sent from my T-Mobile 4G LTE Device From:
'James Douglas' via Chrysler 300 Club International <chrysler-300-club-international@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> The roller for the quarter window in the 300K was stuck on the shaft. It had been sliding not rolling. I could roll by hand, but I had to twist it hard. I spent an hour or more
trying to get it to spin-roll. I suspect that it shrunk in the heat. I tried everything. As a last resort I decided to push it against my buffer to see if it would spin up and wear on the shaft.
STUPID. In 10 seconds, the buffer ate through the thing. Scream! Yell at myself! Scream some more! So, if anyone has one of these and is willing to ship it out to me ASAP. Just ask your price. I cannot put the window back in without it. Nor can I continue with the interior dynamat
until I get the window in. I really do not want to have to drill out the rivet and machine a new roller and the like. If nobody has one, I will call Murray in the AM. James. --
