right — one slides in and out to adjust ( early one )  later has star wheel on thread with bolt holes . Factory manual way to set it is a joke .
I set by put in N , read ohms or test light on starter neutral switch  to ground . come at it from both sides , find exact center of contact made , snug down . has to be perfect on rooster comb

The connection of push button shift cable to a '57 C vs 59 torqueflight is different. Factory changed the casting feature for how you install cable.
