Challenger axle fits right it, solves about 25 STICKY problems. Better brakes, real
e brakes, no hassle driveshaft , no taper hubs, Go all late driveline . J-Y convinced
me, he is right. Width within maybe ¼” Crank
on 413 will not connect to 727, have to change crank..or 440 WE
did this is in a 60 440 Matador, believe we used a collage of 62-3 trans and cables
to use PB ; a trans expert could comment on that interface , probably just
leave park cable unhooked . Good , real E brake might be A LOT better than
park... Edelbrock / Indy heads and roller hydraulic, late big exhaust

I forgot to mention that I’d like to install a 440 CI
engine. From:
Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:Chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf
Of Dan Akol I would like to switch to a later model
aluminum torqeflite. I have access to a pushbutton torqueflite from a ’64
Dodge. The problem is that the newer trans has
a “Park” pawl and no e-brake assembly on the tail shaft. Has anyone
solved this issue/opportunity before? Thanks! Dan
