[Chrysler300] Vin #

  I know this information is not related to our old 300's but definitely the newer ones.  Car thieves are now getting the Vin # off of the Dash and going to a Dealer who will make the new  keys while you wait just from the VIN #.  Then they go back with the new Key and Drive your car to the nearest Chop shop.    

  Courtesy of the Orange County Ca.  Sheriffs Dept.   There recommendation is put a piece of tape over your Vin. or just lay a small card over it.    Gary Barker
