Thank you for the response Wayne.  I find it amazing that the time  span 
between optional equipment and standard eqpt was a mere three weeks.   Is there 
nowhere to investigate how many of each were made, let alone still  possibly on 
the road?  The club keeps such meticulous records on how many  cars are in 
operation EG. keeping track of vins, etc.  Surely Chrysler  batched the single 
vs. double headlamps in the vin no's.  As this was  a transition year for the 
300's perhaps this would be an interesting bit of  info.
