[Chrysler300] Amp gauge

Something weird happened today with my amp guage on my 57
300C. It has been functioning great but all of a suddent it
started reading as though it was experiencing a very deep
discharge while driving down the interstate. When I got back
to my shop, I checked the generator and it was outputing in
the neighborhood of 13 volts. Anyone else experience
anything similar??
