Thank you to all that responded. I have a complete repair kit on the way
from Bernbaums' ($175). I had it shipped for Monday arrival so that I
hopefully can have the swap made before I leave on Wed. for the Meet.

Good Morning,

I just put the G up on a lift to "nut and Bolt" it, ensuring that all
is tight prior to its first major drive next week, to the Michigan
Meet.
All looked good except I found the ball and trunnion to have much more
"slop" than I would care for. 

I know these have been hard to find, but I thought I remembered
someone
stating a while back that there was a new supply of these? Was it Andy
Bernbaums' (sorry for the spelling)?

Does any one have a set that may be going to the MI Meet that is
willing to sell? Does the drive shaft need to be balanced after
replacing this? Can I swap this out in the parking lot?

Thanks for your help. This drive shaft was supposedly rebuilt while I
had the car apart for restoration.
