Hi Ryan;

We know tat the engine will run if it has fuel, so it's not getting any.
If the bowl is full (You stated that gas was present in it), then the 
problem is that the fuel is not getting from the bowl to the Manifold. 
The incoming air (vacuum) is not sucking the fuel into the manifold. 
Dirt or something is blocking the Main jets.
Remove them and check, blow out the passage under the jets.
Should clear it up.
