[Chrysler300] 1961 vin number question and contact question

Please correct me if I am wrong:  The way Chrysler issued vin numbers 
was in order of cars produced.  They are not sequential by model but 
by the order the car came out of the factory.  The last 6 digits are 
random by model....a 300G for exsample might have a vin 8413 123456.  
The next car would have the vin 123457 and could have been any other 
model, correct?

Question 2)  I am trying to track down a Mr. John Matheson.  He is 
believed to be in Utah or British Columbia Canada.  He is a letter 
car owner, lover and dealer.  Anyone have a contact number for him?
