Carb Question

I recently had the carbs rebuilt for my 300F. Now it seems to be running 
very rich, fouling the plugs in less than 50 miles. Are the 300F jet sizes 
different from a New Yorker (with only one carb)? I am wondering if the guy who 
rebuilt the carbs has the wrong size jet. Thanks in advance for whatever help
