I've noticed the same two types of day/night mirrors on my '64s: 300K and Newport convertibles. Possibly one was dealer installed, as in an aftermarket accessory or a replacement part? 
I had a '63 Newport sedan years ago that had an AM radio that was nearly identical to the factory Chrysler radio, except a minor knob variation, and the faceplace read "ALL-TRANSISTOR" instead of "CHRYSLER ALL TRANSISTOR". There was an operators' guide in the glovebox from the Automatic Radio Company that also outlined the installation instructions.
