57 speedometer

thanks to all for input on the speedometer dial cleaning and polishing...and
ideas on how to eliminate the rattle after cleaning the gunk out.

my final solution was to go to my local hardware and purchase Elgar Pro
Repair "screen spline" 1/8" by 20'...it just happens to be gray in color and
fits tightly into that little grove...just leave it sticking a little bit
above the edge.

if you can't find it i have enough for about 15 cars that i would mail out
at no cost.

special thanks to the dude in arizona who sent me something to try...it was
just too small and got lost in the grove.
