Gary Goers sells repro windlace that is very intelligently designed, with 2
cardboard panels sewn on to go between the dash and the windshield pillar.
This allows one to replace the windlace without removing the dash.

The trunklids were painted at the factory with the padding in place;
therefore, whatever color the car is was oversprayed onto the trunk inner
surfaces and sound deadening panels.
