To All Members of the 300 Club, Intl.

For those of you who live in the vicinity of Philadelphia, PA, there will
be 
a Non-Hot Rod or Altered Auto show on the grounds of the Franklin Mint in
the 
Western suburbs of Philadelphia from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM Sunday, September

9th. The exhibited cars are limited to those which made some significant 
contribution to the American Auto Industry. Mary Ann and I will be there
with 
FiFi, our 300F coupe. We will be in the "Yellow" section of the exhibit
area. 
Stop by for a visit, it's free admission! 
If you plan to attend and do not know how to get to the Franklin Mint,
please 
contact me directly and I will assist with directions.

Subject: Wildcat Auto Wrecking- 62 Sport Front Clip

FYI all-
I was speaking to the above wrecking yard by phone,
and they mentioned they have a '62 300 Sport front
clip that is, in their words, "as good as you could
expect to get in a wrecking yard." There is some minor
rust, and they will e-mail photos to you if requested.
The guy I spoke to said they are asking $1500.

Subject: Moroso Mopar & Chrysler Show

Hi all-
For those rushing back to the Southeast after the
Louisville meet, there is the Mopar & Chrysler Show
held at Moroso Motorsports Park in West Palm Beach,
Florida, on Sunday, September 16th.  They expect about
4200 participants with a car show, a swap meet, drag
racing, and a manufacturers marketplace.  There were a
half-dozen C-body cars there last year, but mostly A &
B-body Dodges and Plymouths.  Still pretty
interesting.

Wow!! $1500 for just the front clip!!!  Heck I have a whole compete body
w/AC (I'll keep the engine)  I would dearly like to that much for.   I
do not know how these junk yards can ask (and Get??) so much when we 300
collectors have a hard time getting that for a complete parts car.
