Re: [FWDLK] GraveYard Cars Christine & Road Kill Road Runner.

I got to know him pretty good through this, at first we were talking about an actual car, but the budget wasn't there for a rust free real 58 belv... once he got the nearly mopar mel quality 58 with tarred in roofing tin floors they realized an extra 5 grand would have saved 89% of the metal work they ended up doing... once he got into it he realized where all the informational and quality parts roads led to.. between hours on the phone, emailing diagrams, my inserts, cluster build, making the door panels with molded fury armrests, disassembling the grill and resizing the struts to accept the larger dimensions after chrome.. I probably had 2 months of time in that car from across the US!  John Fowlie was also instrumental in providing a rust free platform from a 4dr donor. I know he sold him other parts to.  Mark is a good guy, just got to get yo know people past the TV personalities, lol.
Funny, early on he mentioned donating stuff to promote my name, I said listen, if I made muscle car parts I'd definitely take you up on that! But in the Forwardlook world, I'll help get your name out haha.  Funny enough he kinda said that on the show.
In the end he built another very unique Plymouth,  even thought so many people hate the christine theme, the facts are if it wasnt for christine,  Forwardlook still would be off the value map like they were until people remembered that movie in the late 90s again!

It was nice that Mark Worman gave you credit for many of the things they could not figure out.  Forward Look Mopars are way, way outside their wheelhouse.

Just watched the guys from GraveYard Cars complete their 58 Plymouth Belvedere for SEMA.  Nice representation of a 58 Fury in "Christine" mode with a 1000hp HEMI engine.  They went through and did the right things, and the paint and workmanship is top-notch, but I still have a hard time watching Mark Worman jerk around and act like a total ass.  When he is serious, and informative, he is super, but his little, petty crap just ruins a lot of the impact for me.
Also, the "Road Kill" guys are out driving a 68 Road Runner that was wrapped around a pole (definitely a total), t-boned 383.  Car still runs and drives, although it is at about a 30% angle.
If you need a quick Mopar Fix, both are worthwhile on the MotorTrend channel.....
