Re: [FWDLK] Free Gas Tanks

I believe that all of the tanks are spoken for at this time by local members (Dave and Bill).  Might be best that they can be picked-up by local folks, as I don't have any idea what shipping would cost or how to ensure that they are not damaged without a "factory" wrap or box.

If anything changes, I will re-post the offer.  I will have a lot of free and not-for-free Mopar items from the 50s, 60s, and 70s going on eBay, but will offer much of it to members first if that is OK?

Time to "Thin the Herd" of Mopar parts and cars...l.

Since there appears to be interest in the 57-59 tanks and the 74 B-Body tank, I will look carefully inside (as much as possible) and report.

I know that none of the tanks have rust-through or pin-holes.  The 74 tank is still somewhat shiny.  The Forward Look tanks have surface rust and one has a corner dent.  The Forward Look tanks still had the sending units sealed in the tanks, so it blocked most any access from moisture and assorted critters.  The B-Body tank had duct tape over the openings.

Again, the tanks are located outside Akron, Ohio...
