Back when I was more active with this stuff, I had things like water pumps and generators rebuilt by local specialty shops I had "collected" to service these various parts. I had enough traffic of parts cars that I amassed extras that I then sent out for rebuild to have on the shelf to avoid downtime when something went gunnysack. As for the M/C refill, ... I got fed up with only having two hands for a 3-hand job and spent an afternoon creating a fancy Rube Goldberg funnel out of copper pipe and fittings that rides on the valve cover studs and allows a one-handed fill while the eyes can be over watching the fluid pour in. I'd post pix, but I do not have any on my laptop here in theatre.
