When I park one of my 300 letter cars at a show, I always disconnect the
negative cable off the battery. My theory is that without any electrical, one
can't have an electrical fire. So that would mean that my clock would NOT
be working! Fern with 300H conv and 300L

CLOCKS, ARE WE THAT OLD.!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi all:
Now let's not get carried away with the idea that clocks are not so
important. Several years ago, there was a car show at Sacramento where 2
cars were tied for the trophy. The judges felt that they were identical
as far as judging was concerned. What to do!!! Someone hit upon
the idea to see if the radio, or was it the clock, worked. Upon
inspection, one car had whichever it was working and received the
trophy. So perhaps in the future, because your clock is running and the
one in your fellow enthusiast's is not, you get the trophy.
Have fun.
