Unless you plan on changing to a modern 727 Torqueflite you want a '58-'61
B-Block or RB-Block, the transmissions changed over in '62 and will not work
with earlier crankshafts. Also if you are going for "original" in
appearance you don't want a '59 RB Block 383 out of a Chrysler or a 413, they
are taller and intakes will not interchange with the 361 or B-block 383.
Not trying to be a "Know it all" just trying to save you some time,
aggravation, and money.
