I haven't seen modern auto glass in the hue (OR in the thickness!) of our green tinted windshields, which almost qualify for "deep tint" status. Almost all deep tinted glass is slate gray, but I suppose that there are some "Privacy Glass" applications in bronze, too. I think that why the slate gray is so prevalent is due to its neutrality, and universal applicability (cost); sort of like the ubiquitous gray interiors, nowadays. I know that the green windshields conflict with the appearance of red and gold paitwork. In other words, "our" tinted W/S's are TOO colorful, to be able to be widely used, today, when cars are SUPPOSED to be Post Moderne soul-less robotic machines.
