The new filter came with a rubber gasket to be used on the bottom of the canister. How do you get this very large rubber gasket to seal correctly (much less line up)? As a result, I have a large puddle of oil to clean up and a problem to solve. Assistance please. P.S. This might be the final straw to get a converter to the new type oil filters from “hot heads”.
