Yes, the 56 Dodge Golden Lancer D500 this year is the same car that sold for $216,000 last year. This car was originally a Golden Lancer and D500 from California. The 2x4 carbs were added during restoration. I heard that the buyer last year has lots of bucks and a large car collection. But he is selling off about 50 cars this year at B-J. One source said he changed his interests to airplanes. Or maybe just needs the cash. This year the car went for 126,000. A slight loss, but still the highest selling 56 Dodge I ever heard about.
