Clarification [it's still early here on the left blue states]:
 
When you mentioned wiper park, I ass-u-me-d you meant that the wipers go a little farther than when in operation to rest against the window moulding.  Coronets didn't come with that feature.
 
All MoPar wipers of that era should continue running until the wipers are toward the lower edge of the windshield and then stop.

I noticed that on the plus side, my ?55 Dodge has electric wipers as opposed to the vacuum wipers I experienced as a youth  on same year Chevy and wondering what idiot would design a wiper to quit when engine vacuum went to zero.  But, I noticed today that the wipers do not park.  Is that a defect or a design issue?
