Hi all, I guess it is not up to me to convince anyone about seatbelts or disc brakes, head restraints, body armor, parachutes, condoms, whatever...as each has his own idea of safety, originality, looks, cost, feasibility, comfort, style...etc...etc... Apparently some are under the impressions safety should not be as big of concern as originality. Wonderful, go for it! Some people will never agree with what has been proven as far as safety with seatbelts, head restraints, air bags, padded dash, etc..etc.. Then there are those of us who believe in any level of safety above what "Original Equipment" offers is a good idea. (should not always be mandatory, but...) No, I probably won't install the energy absorbing steering column...well maybe not. Disc brakes...absolutely! By the way... AAJ...do you make them in 4 wheel anti-lock for my 59 Sub.? I do believe the NOS windshield I am putting in is safety glass. (Do not want to test it though) Seat belts...a must! Three point...possibly! Sooo, do as you want...for me, I choose to take "some precautions" against hitting my head on the dash and/or windshield, and wake up with someone saying..... HE'S SPECIAL! (my mother may have said that, but in a different context I hope) John in WI...full moon and the strange ones are out and about! ----- Original Message ----- From: "John Zastrow" <fins59@xxxxxxxxxxx> As for whose going to install all that new fangled stuff on their > cars??
