Fortunately I've never been in a collision/accident, whatever, where a seat belt or air bag had to prevent injury, but what does come to mind is, of all things, plowing snow here in Wis. When plowing snow if you hit a frozen object frozen in ground, even at 2,3,4 mph, it'll throw you violently forward. After one of those happenings you'll buckle up while plowing. At Iola Car Show, Wis State Patrol has an exhibit. Its a car seat attached to a declining ramp. They buckle you in and release the seat. I forgot the speed of the descent but its only a few mph and when you hit the bottom its quite a jolt. As for whose going to install all that new fangled stuff on their cars?? I'll put my bet on John in Wi ----- Original Message ----- From: "eastern sierra Adj Services" <esierraadj@xxxxxxxxx> To: <L-FORWARDLOOK@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, November 09, 2003 2:56 AM Subject: Re: [FWDLK] Chewing Dashes; Breaking Hearts > DAMN!
