Re: [FWDLK] Nerves of steel?

Why do you think you'll break down. I've owned my 56 Savoy since 1989,
probably 40k I've put on it and I've only broken down once, the fuel pump
went bad. It was my own fault because I kind of knew there was a problem
with it.

Define long distance. My AAA coverage covers me for up to 100 miles back to
my house.

My other thought is if I break down really far from home, I'll go rent a
truck and trailer and bring it back home.

But if the car is well maintained, the cance of braking down and not being
able to make it home are slim.

Keep up on it mechanically and carry some tools and extra parts and you
should be fine.
