While on the gas tank subject, does anybody know where to get a replacement rubber for where the fuel pipe passes through the trunk floor? I could not see one mentioned in Gary Goers' catalog. Any leads appreciated. Thanks. Glenn. 57 Fury. "Stragand, Dave" wrote: > The filter on the end of the fuel tank pickup is still available from your local Mopar dealer. Both were used many years by Mopar throughout its lines. The retainer circlip thingy is also available, but I'm not sure of the part number. > > Also, the tube to tank seal is a simple o-ring. Take it to a good auto parts store and you should be able to match it up. Should run about a buck. krateparts@xxxxxxx also adds "I haven't tried it, but a voyager mini van looks to be the same for the filler tube to tank seal." > > -Dave > > -----Original Message----- > From: Reggie Knowlton [mailto:Reggie_Knowlton@xxxxxxx] > Sent: Thursday, August 22, 2002 11:52 AM > To: L-FORWARDLOOK@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: Re: [FWDLK] '57 DeSoto gas tank > > This gent is in luck.
