All,
I have to agree with Tony. As the purchaser of parts and supplies for the
county transit system, filters are something I bid out. We usually get good
prices on the Fram filters because they're inexpensive. The reason they're
inexpensive is that they're made inexpensive--read "cheap". Luckly, we get to
determine which items are equals and Fram always falls behind.
I know when I've gone to oil lube shops they typically use Fram filters and I
suppose the reason is because they're cheap. A major consideration if you're
trying to make a profit.
