Can anyone recommend a good solvent to free up a sticky lifter? The
engine is a 58 Dodge 350 V8.
The car runs very quiet and has excellent oil pressure, but every once
in awhile, only at idle, a lifter will tap for about 10 seconds and then
go away for another 5 minutes and then start tapping again. Is it easy
to remove these lifters in case I have to go that route? any info
greatly appreciated. Nick Nichols
