As Bob suggested, check out www.coker.com. Radial vs. Bias - personally I prefer Radial. But I use both. I have a set of WWW bias ply, I put on my car (59 Plymouth Sport Fury) for car shows. , and a set of modern radial whitewalls I use for normal driving (put 4800 miles on car this past summer and enjoyed every mile). I have an extra set of rims (thanks to my parts car) so it makes changing them fairly simple. But as Coker says in their catalog - "Radial Advantages" better mileage - SMOOTHER RIDE - All weather tread - BETTER HANDLING. Bias Advantages are - Authentic for show cars - wider whitewalls available - and less $ than radials. WWW Radials from Coker for my car cost $142 each, and www bias cost $75., so the cost difference is significant.
