[FWDLK] fiberglass fenders

I have a lead on fiberglass fenders for my '55.  It seems to me I've seen a
discussion on fiberglass fenders in this group before -- perhaps, a J.C.
Whitney item at one time?

Does anyone have any advice, to recommend or discourage going this path?
The car is a driver, I'm not concerned about originality...
