Hi every body This email was wrongfully sent just to Robert Bishop (sorry), but was ment for the whole list. Plaza and Savoy didn't use the same sportone as the Belvedere. The Belvedere used the same (Sportone type 1) as originally mounted on the hardtops and conv's. Plaza and Savoy used the sportone type 2 where the moulding started on the rocker, vent a little up on the front door and straight back to the tail lamp. The Sportone type 1 was slightly changed for 56, but not the type 2. The 55-57 parts list shows both types, as also the Plymouth 1946-59 book by Jim Benjaminson. My 55 Belvedere 4 door sedan has the sportone type 1 originally mounted. You'll find a picture of it on our web site under members rides / 1955 Plymouth: www.forwardlook.net/nordicmopar There's no 1955 with type 2 there, but you will find 2 under 1956 Plymouth.
