AAJ that makes the disk brake kits is developing a dropped spindle. Give
him a call but my guess is he is at least 6 mos away.
I believe that Fatman fabrications makes a dropped spindle also, I saw it
for the 55-56 dodge and plym, not sure about chrysler.
I have a copy of an article with the fatman spindles and ply-do disk brakes
I can probably dig it out if you need it.

The disk brake swap sounds cool, does anybody know how I can get a dropped
spindle for my '56 New Yorker? If no one makes one for this car, is it
possible to use a dropped spindle from another car without having to
re-engineer the whole front end?
Thanks,
Chris
