Please forgive this non-forwardlook transgression but I have not been able
to resolve this on my own and don't know where else to turn.
I have a 93 Caravan with a 3.0 v6 and 3 speed automatic.
This transmission has a very harsh 1-2 upshift a low speeds. I know that
Chrysler modified the valve body in later years to correct the problem but
the dealers here are only interested in selling me a total rebuild -- that I
do not need.
In the past I used a high performange valve body recalibration kit with good
results.
Does anyone know if there is an aftermarket/performance valve body kit for
this transmission, I am sure it is used a a variety of FWD vehicles.
