[FWDLK] Manifold heat valve

Manifold Heat Control Valve in my 1961 DeSoto has stucked in open
position probably some decades ago. Is it worth to replace it for
working one or should I forget it? Does the working one improve much
fuel consumption and help the engine get warmer in short time?
