For some inexplicable reason, I've never been able to field strip
that clock.
It's boxed up, now, awaiting shipment to where-ever, but, the
front stem-winder knob has always seemed to be non-removable
which would allow the thing to be opened up.
Many times, over the years, I've shot WD40 into it, from a rear
opening, and the clock has begun to operate.
This time, even using a jumper wire directly to the battery: NADA...
So, it's off to see the Clock Wizard...

Actually bet you can remove the rear cover and clean the points then slap
some lube in and be done. Someone at McPherson must teach a course in
that???
Personally happy when clocks don't work so they don't try and drain
batteries. (it's a Nebraska thing)

Well....the site reference referred me to S/M Electro-Tech.
They inform me that they don't do clock repairs, only quartz-installations
(NO thank you!), but they did refer me to Instrument Services Co., of IL.
I.S.C. was closed, but I left a message for them to call me, tomorrow, at
their earliest convenience.

My car's clock stopped running, and a jumper-wire from the battery
failed to get it running, so, it's time to have it visit a Clock-doc.
I've left a phone message for Classic Auto Electric, of McPherson, KS
but before they call me, and even if they do, does anyone have a
favorite clock repair shop to recommend to me?
