George Riehl, who has rebuilt probably more of the 300 CI transmissions
than anyone, always recommends F-Type. I have it in 3 of my 57 and 58 cars
and I am very pleased with the shifting quality. The 300 was designed for a
crisp fast shift. For a smoother shifting feel then I might not want
to use it. It is personal preference. Marv Raguse
