Derby guys used to use type F in "our" transmissions. Always said they'd "grip" better. I don't know if that's folklore or fact.

Is there any info or experience in mixing two types of trans fluid in
our babies??
Specifically TYPE F (and old FORD fluid)) and DEXTRON (for GM
basically).

I am guessing that although not recommended,,there is really no harm??
