I install Pertronix (not the type II) into everything I
own and a shop I use suggests the same to every applicable old car owner that
comes in to them. I've never had a failure and don't carry a spare
distributor nor parts. Yes, there is the tiny box to install discreetly
somewhere which is no big deal. I wouldn't own a points distributor any
more in anything unless there was no P'trex made for it.
John Lazenby of the Chrysler 300 Int'l Club is a Pertronix
dealer. He can send you electronic files of info if you need it and quote
you a price for your car. He has some inventory but gets couple day
service from the company for anything he does not have on the shelf. I buy
