Good advice, most of my
Magnums are still using the old "lameburn" system, only because they still work
OK, but not to sound unpatriotic, I carry a points dist. with me ..... just
in case!

As Neil said, carry an extra points set up with you.
Pertronix (and other aftermarket) ignition parts are not readily available in
parts stores if you need them in an emergency. At least with a points system
you can usually limp the car somewhere, when electronic ignitions die you're
stuck there. Adam Lindenbaum -----Original Message----- From: Larry

[FWDLK] Pertronix Ignitor
Anyone use either the Pertronix Ignitor or Ignitor II Electronic
Ignition in your older MOPARs? I am looking at these for my '64 Fury
Convertible (318 Poly), or possibly my 59 Coronet (326).
Any real
advantage to the Pertronix II vice the regular Pertronix? Prices are $90
and $66 respectively. Are they reliable and easy to install? I am
interested in keeping the original
appearance.
Thanks.

over 16" of snow Friday-Saturday).
