...SPEAKING of which, when SMS re-popped my CRL's door panels, I
immediately noticed that the texture of the "ovoids", located along the
bottom of the panels, had a different/wrong appearance; I figured
WTH/WTF, it's about 90% correct, and, at least all of them look alike.
and nobody's ever likely to notice their slightly-wrong texture.

Subsequently, one or more of the ovoids have had their edges kinda
curl-away, ever-so-slightly, from the door vinyl . 

But, the ovoids' texture is just that, NOT a large
distinct pattern, as exists on PLY doors.

As I've got a remnant of the OEM door panel, maybe I'll send a
side-by-side comparison pic, for y'all to admire, manana.

Gang -

Three days short of nine months after I sent my deposit check to SMS Auto

Upholstery, I received a large box from UPS. Inside were the black and white door panels for my 58 Belvedere 2dr HT. I must say that they are impressive

looking, right down to the heat-stamped 'boomerang' embossed in the lower
section of the panel. My only quibble is that the mylar rectangles on  the

originals had squares about 1/8", the SMS stuff has squares about half that

size. Only Neil and I would notice this kinda stuff.
