I'm curious how Boy Boyd will go about getting the Belvy to start, without destroying it. My speculation is that they would at least do the cursory fluid changes, purge out the old stuff as best they can, inspect and replace electrical/ignition components, and hand-turn the engine. But would that take away from the drama? If all they do is change the engine oil, add fuel, and then try to start it, and it actually starts and runs half-decently, that would be amazing. Nick, if it was YOU attempting to start that car, it having not been run in 50 years and with varnish in the fuel system (or was the system drained prior to burial?), how would you do it? Regards, Jason. ************************************************************* To unsubscribe or set your subscription options, please go to http://lists.psu.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=l-forwardlook&A=1 |
