My 53 Plymouth Cranbrook had Porta Walls too, which helped defect attention from its poverty hubcaps and the rust along the rocker panels. I also had a green plastic "suicide knob" on the steering wheel with a hula girl printed on it. It kept getting hung up on my shirt sleeve so I had to get rid of it. :( Tony in Idaho -----Original Message----- From: Forward Look Mopar Discussion List [mailto:L-FORWARDLOOK@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Jack Johnson Sent: Friday, November 03, 2006 1:14 PM To: L-FORWARDLOOK@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: [FWDLK] Stuck in the 50's I had the Porta Walls (white wall inserts from Western Auto) on my first car--a 1937 Plymouth 4 door sedan I bought for $35.00---and it ran well.
